Summer in a mould. That tropical, cooling hit that feels like a treat and works like nourishment — these collagen glow pops are the kind of thing worth keeping in the freezer all season. Pineapple, coconut water, a scoop of REPAIR, and done. The glow that follows is just what happens when the body is quietly given what it needs.

When your skin feels a little flat, dry, or tired and the usual things aren't quite working, it's often not an outside problem. These collagen infused ice blocks were made for exactly that, low sugar, deeply hydrating, and packed with beauty food ingredients that support the skin from the inside. Part of the Glow Guide series. Blend, pour, freeze, and the rest takes care of itself.
Why You'll Love These Glow Pops
skin from the inside: beauty foods that support skin elasticity and that outer glow
refreshing & light: the perfect cooling treat for summer that nourishes while it satisfies
make-ahead friendly: blend, pour, freeze and enjoy the glow all week
customisable: swap the fruit, add a favourite beauty blend or vegan collagen alternative
Blend, pour, freeze, and the rest takes care of itself. The kind of recipe that earns a permanent place in the summer rotation not because it asks anything of you, but because of what it quietly gives back.
Why These Glow Pops Work
Beauty Food, Skin Health & The Midlife Shift
The skin that used to recover overnight now takes a little longer. That flatness, the slower bounce-back, the dullness that a new serum doesn't quite reach — these aren't random. They're the quiet signal of a body moving through perimenopause and menopause, where collagen production slows and the skin reflects that shift before anything else does.
The good news is that the body responds — steadily and noticeably — when it's given the right ingredients. Vitamin C-rich pineapple supports the body's own collagen rhythm. Coconut water delivers hydration at a cellular level. A quality collagen supplement layers in what food alone can't fully provide. Together, in a frozen pop that tastes like a holiday, they do real work.
These aren't just a summer treat. They're a functional beauty food — and one of the most effortless ways to make nourishment part of a daily rhythm.

Collagen Glow Pops For Midlife Skin & Hormone Health
Nothing in this mould is decorative. These are whole, purposeful ingredients chosen because of what they do for a body moving through midlife — nature's beauty foods, working together in the simplest possible form.
Pineapple For Skin Glow
Tropical, sweet, and quietly doing the heaviest lifting in this recipe. Pineapple is one of the richest beauty food sources of vitamin C — essential for the body's own collagen rhythm. Ripe and organic where possible. It sets the tone for everything else in the glass.
Coconut Water For Hydration
Naturally rich in electrolytes, coconut water supports hydration at the cellular level — the kind that shows up as plumper, calmer skin over time rather than as a temporary fix. It carries the nutrients in this pop to where they're needed most.
Maca Root For Hormone Support
A gentle adaptogen that supports the hormonal shifts of midlife without overpowering the recipe. Half a teaspoon is enough. It dissolves cleanly and adds a subtle earthiness that balances the tropical sweetness.
For Collagen & Gut
The supplement this recipe was built around — and a daily staple in the midlife kitchen. Formulated by naturopath and herbalist Pernille Jensen, REPAIR brings hydrolysed collagen alongside skin-loving vitamins, superfoods like Maqui berry and Kakadu plum, aloe vera, glutamine, and zinc. It supports the gut lining and the skin at the same time — which in midlife, is exactly the combination that matters. The kind of supplement that earns a permanent place on the bench.

Ingredients
300ml coconut water, organic
1 cup pineapple, organic, skin removed
1/2 tsp Chef's Choice Maca Root
1 scoop REPAIR {gut + skin} by The Gut Co or preferred collagen powder
2–4 drops liquid stevia, to taste
Cooking Instructions
Add all ingredients except the collagen to a high-powered blender blender like a Ninja Pro or Smeg, and blend 2-3 minutes or until completely smooth.
Add the collagen powder and blend again to combine.
Slowly pour the pineapple mixture into reusable ice block sleeves or popsicle moulds, leaving space at the top for expansion during freezing.
Freeze the glow pops for a minimum of three hours or overnight until fully solid.
To serve, run warm water over the moulds for a few seconds to release the glow pops cleanly.
Tips For Best Results
Ripe Pineapple Makes The Difference: the sweeter the fruit, the less stevia or sweetener needed. Use fresh, ripe pineapple for that extra tanginess, and taste the blend before pouring and adjust accordingly. When the fruit has that little bit of an acidic bite, its perfect.
Go Slow When Pouring: rushing creates air bubbles and uneven pops during the freezing process. be sure to slowly pour from a low height and tap the mould gently on the bench to settle the mixture before freezing.
Add Collagen Last: blend the fruit and coconut water first, then add the collagen powder. Blend briefly again to combine well. This extra steps help preserve the integrity of the live nutrients.
Batch For The Week: a double batch uses the same amount of time, mess the same blender and is the same clean-up. You can even try two flavours at once without rinsing. Try mango and passionfruit alongside the original recipe. You won't be disappointed!
Release With Warmth: a little kitchen hack is to run moulds under warm water rather than pulling by the stick to release them from the mould. Just 10-15 seconds is usually enough and the pops will just slide out, ready ready to enjoy.
Easy Recipe Variations
Once you've tried this original recipe, you can make it on repeat and vary the ingredients for added flavours, nutrients and benefits. For instance, consider swapping the fruit with whatever is ripe and seasonal; mango, papaya, passionfruit all work beautifully. Add coconut milk or plant-based yogurt for something creamier, a squeeze of lime for brightness or a few mint leaves for an unexpected herbal note. Chia seeds and hemp seeds fold in easily for extra nourishment, and a vegan collagen or plant-based protein powder makes these extra delicious. Same recipe and ritual, endlessly varied.

Nutritionist Notes
Nourishment doesn't always have to fell like an effort. Sometimes it looks like a frozen glow pop on a warm afternoon. The body in midlife is responsive, and notices consistency more than perfection. A quick batch made on a Sunday, pulled from the freezer all week, now that's a beauty food rhythm your skin will thank you for. Softer than a supplement and sweeter than a routine. It's just midlife nourishment, made easy.

Your Questions Answered By A Women's Nutritionist
How often should glow pops be eaten for glowing skin benefits?
One to two collagen-infused glow pops a day through summer is a natural rhythm. Remember, collagen isn't a one-off supplement. It support best works combined with a whole food diet and consumed over time rather expecting the magic overnight. It is consistency with hydration, eating habits and rituals that creates the biggest shifts in midlife.
Can the collagen powder be substituted?
Yes, any high-quality soluble collagen powder will work. We used REPAIR {gut + skin} as it is our preferred choice and helps both gut and digestive health and skin simultaneously. This matters more in midlife than it did in your 20s and 30s. If you have a favourite blend, be sure it is hydrolysed collagen with minimal additives and no artificial sweeteners. Enjoy a daily scoop and fell the glow!
How long do collagen glow pops keep in the freezer?
For optimum freshness, glow pops will keep up to a month in a tightly sealed mould or airtight container. After that the texture can become icy rather than smooth like when first frozen. A weekly batch keeps is a great way to always have a fresh supply on hand.
Are glow pops suitable for perimenopause and menopause?
Yes, every single ingredient was hand-picked by a Women's Nutritionist, and with the midlife woman in mind. Juicy pineapple combines well with collagen, coconut water feeds cellular hydration, maca root quietly achieves inner calm and hormonal balance, while collagen deeply nourishes the gut lining and skin at the same time.
Can collagen glow pops be made without a blender?
Of course. You can use a handheld mixer or food processor, both will work for softer, ripe fruit. For more chunkier, more textured collagen pops, mash the pineapple finely and whisk the remaining ingredients through by hand before pouring. The result will be less smooth but equally nourishing.
