If your skin has been feeling a little flat, dry, or tired lately, these Pineapple & Coconut Collagen Glow Pops are the perfect summer refreshing pick-me-up. The easy to make collagen infused ice blocks are low sugar, super hydrating, and packed with clean eating ingredients that build that radiant glow from the inside out. Part of my Glow Guide series, this beauty food recipe uses nourishing foods that support your hormones, skin, and wellbeing naturally. And the best bit? These collagen infused ice blocks are so easy to make you’ll want a batch ready in your freezer all summer.

Why You’ll Love These Glow Pops

  • nourishes the skin: collagen supports skin elasticity and maintains that outer glow

  • refreshing & light: the perfect cooling treat and beauty food for summer

  • make-ahead friendly: blend, pour, freeze, and enjoy the glow all week

  • customisable: add a scoop of your favourite beauty blend or vegan collagen alternative.

These refreshing collagen infused ice blocks are super easy to meal prep and will provide you with the inspiration to experiment with your favourite supplements in fun ways for summer or year-round.

What Are The Benefits Of Collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body. Think of it like the scaffolding that keeps your skin smooth, plump, and elastic while also supporting healthy joints, hair, and nails. But here’s the catch: once we hit our mid-20s, our natural collagen production starts to decline. This speeds up even more through perimenopause and menopause. That’s why those fine lines, sagging skin, and dull skin suddenly feels so much more noticeable. The good news? Your body can be coaxed to make and maintain it's stores of natural collagen through the foods you eat. As an example of this, take this Pineapple & Coconut Collagen Glow Pops recipe; the ingredients have all been purposely chosen to support good gut and skin health. To maintain good collagen levels (aka radiant glowing skin) your body needs:

  • ascorbic acid: aka vitamin C (like the pineapple in this recipe) is essential for collagen synthesis

  • hydration: rich in electrolytes, the coconut water in this recipe helps deliver nutrients to skin cells

  • targeted support: a quality hydrolysed collagen that provides amino acids and antioxidants to protect against collagen breakdown

To reap all these natural beauty benefits, is exactly why I crafted this Pineapple & Coconut Collagen Glow Pops recipe. When you blend vitamin-C rich pineapple, hydrating coconut water, and a collagen supplement into one refreshing treat, you’re doing more than making tropical tasting popsicles. You’re layering together three powerful nutrients for skin health supplying raw materials (amino acids and vitamin C) and supporting delivery with hydration while protecting what you already have with antioxidants.

These collagen glow pops are more than a hydrating summer snack, they’re a true functional beauty food. By pairing nutrients that encourage collagen production with hydration and targeted supplementation, you’re giving your body the building blocks it needs to keep your skin looking brighter, plumper, and more resilient, all while enjoying a simple, nourishing treat.

And when it comes to choosing a collagen supplement that works beautifully in recipes like this, I often turn to one of my go-to favourites: REPAIR {gut + skin} from The Gut Co.

Why I Love REPAIR {gut + skin}

As a women’s Nutritionist, I believe in getting the bulk of my nutrition from the foods I eat every day. However, sometimes just food isn’t enough, and that’s where I then recommend targeted nutrition and supplementation. REPAIR {gut + skin} from The Gut Co has been thoughtfully crafted by a Naturopath and Herbalist, and is a collagen blend with a beautiful fusion of hydrolysed collagen, skin-loving vitamins, antioxidants, and superfoods. These not only help your skin look radiant, this blend of ingredients also supports your gut health, digestion and overall wellbeing.

That’s a lot of ticked boxes for me, and I love that the REPAIR {gut + skin} blend contains clinically studied collagen for elasticity and hydration, along with superfoods like Maqui berry and Kakadu plum for a hefty vitamin-C and antioxidant boost. REPAIR {gut + skin} also provides extra body-nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, glutamine, and zinc to help calm and protect the gut lining.

It’s why I regularly use this in my own beauty routine and recommend it often. It’s such a simple way to nourish your body from the inside out and give your skin that healthy glow while supporting your gut at the same time, whether it’s in a daily glass of water or in recipes like these glow pops.

Once you try these, you’ll be hooked on experimenting with other tropical fruits, juices, or collagen blends. The versatility of this beauty food recipe means you can explore flavours, textures, and nutrient boosts, making each variation a fun and nourishing experience.

Prep Your Ingredients

Start with ripe pineapple (or any sweet seasonal fruit). For best results, choose organic where possible. Remove the skin and chop the pineapple into small pieces to make blending easy. Measure the coconut water and collagen supplement so you have everything all ready to go.

Blend & Fill

Add the pineapple, coconut water, and collagen (plus any optional add-ins like maca, lime zest, or mint) to a high-powered blender and processed until smooth. Now that the mixture is ready to pour, go slowly to avoid bubbles as you pour the mixture into popsicle moulds or the reusable sleeves. Be sure to leave a little space at the top for expansion once it freezes.

Freeze & Enjoy

Freeze the tropical ice pops for at least 3 hours (or overnight) until fully solid. To serve, let the pops sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or run the mould under warm water to release them easily. These tropical collagen infused pops are perfect for a refreshing, skin-supporting dessert for hot summer days, dining el fresco entertaining or simply just nourishing with a healthy treat.
