GETTING STARTED

Get ready for an intentional week of hydration protocols and herbal infusions designed to restore your metabolism, boost all-day energy, and kickstart summer weight loss. Each day, you’ll make delicious watr infusions that support the body, and by the end of this week, you’ll not only feel more balanced and revitalised, but you’ll also have a Playbook full of protocols you can carry forward to continue glowing from the inside out.

How This Works


Pick your own start date, and for the next 7 days follow the Playbook prompts. Each day introduces one simple hydration ritual where you’ll follow a daily recipe, learn why it works, and complete a few micro-habits that will help fuel your detox and glow.


What You'll Need:

You only need a few things to help prepare for your glow week in the days coming: 


▢  a 1-litre glass water bottle or large glass water pitcher

▢  fresh organic herbs, fruit and botanicals (see food list)

▢  internet access to view the daily protocols (mobile or desktop)

▢  a few minutes each morning and evening to plan each day

▢ a public Facebook account if you want to join the free Facebook Community


You won’t need fancy supplements to participate in this 7-day challenge; we're working with clean, wholefoods and filtered drinking water to cleanse and refresh the body.


How To Make Infused Water

These blends are perfect for weigth loss and hormonal women, and will quickly become your secret summer protocols for better balance and that fresh, summer glow!


What You Can Expect


Over the next seven days, you'll be hydrating with up to 3-litres of water per day and at levels you might not be used or have never experienced before. For this reason you may notice:


  • increased trips to the bathroom (normal at first) and lessens as you persist

  • more consistent energy and less brain fog as your brain adjusts to proper hydration levels

  • reduced sugar cravings and less snacking as your appetite regualtes

  • improved digestion and elimination as your body releases toxins and build up

  • glowing, more youthful and dewy skin with the added nourishment reaching deep in skin cells

  • an internal reset and possible loss of a few kilos (when paired with healthy eating and exerice)


Hydrating with intention is often overlooked in many diets and weight loss programs. Water is an essential macro, just like protein and fibre, and supports the following:


  • hormone balance and adrenal function especillay for women in midlife

  • blood sugar stability and insulin regulation as we age

  • efficient detox and lymphatic drainage

  • radiant, elastic, healthy skin and collagen production

  • improved metabolism and appetite regulation with better weight loss outcomes

Day 1: Hydration Training

To get the most effective results from the challenge week, you'll want to plan ahead for your success. There are three simple things I highly recommend considering before you start. They are:


  • calculate your goal: if hydration hasn’t been a protity, drinking up to 3 litres might feel like alot. Aim for what feels doable, if 3L is a stretch, make it your final goal with an increase to aleast 2-2.5L during the challenge week.

  • weight loss is common during this week, a rate of 1-3 kg is safe when supported by a clean, wholefood diet, plenty of sleep, and daily exercise. Browse the blog for recipe ideas.

  • keep track: download the water tracker or use an water tracker app. This can be a fun and helpful way to stay on track with daily reminders.


Days 2-7: Sip, Slay, Repeat


  • set reminders: if you didn't download a water tracker, set an alarm on your phone to remind yourself to sip water throughout the day. Be sure to set several throughout the main part of the day, when most people are usually too busy with work or family to remember.

  • infuse your water: all the recipes are supplied, just follow the recipe, sip and glow.

  • celebrate your wins:  track your progress and reward yourself for completing each day. This keep motivation high and gives you a sense of satisfying achievement while building a new healthy habit.


Helpful Guidelines

Follow these guidelines (becauses we don't do rules around here) to get the most out of the week ahead:


  • use this week to refresh your eating habits and get more active (really boosts your results)

  • focus on food choices with intention, making clean eating the priority over dieting

  • alcohol is optional, but a dry week is best to fully detox and replenish your body

  • black coffee and caffeine is allowed; enjoy only after having a protien-based breakfast

  • this is not a strict challenge—do what works for you to shift your habits and intake

▢  making a batch of ice cubes if you enjoy chilled drinks

▢  chop and prep the fresh produce for tomorrow


No actual ingredients are needed today, but taking a few minutes to get organised will make the week run smoothly!

Daily Glow Protocols

Try these morning, afternoon and evening rituals to go beyond simple hydration and feed the glow.

The Daily Glow Up

 

Say good morning to your gentle metabolic wake-up. Start your day with hydration before caffeine or breakfast as this stimulates good digestion, stabilises hunger, and leaves you feeling naturally light. Try either of the following:

  • green tea + a squeeze of lemon to activate metabolism without the jitters

  • or warm water + ¼–½ lemon + pinch of salt for gentle electrolyte balance

HYDRATE FIRST, FOOD SECOND
Hydration before breakfast helps your hunger hormones regulate and can reduce intake by 10–30%. Pair with a high-protein + fibre breakfast (eggs, Greek yoghurt, tofu, chicken, salmon, cottage cheese, chia, flax, psyllium, berries, greens). You can also add 1 tsp psyllium or 1 tbsp chia to water if you’re not ready to eat. This increases fullness, steadies blood sugar, and reduces mid-morning cravings.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Water is best consumed in small, consistent sips, never chugged. Flooding the body with too much water at once can cause bloating and reduce hydration effectiveness.
